BH Paints Meets Demand for Colour Testers

Special Offer: Two mini pots of paint for just $500 until December 31, 2022

After years of asking for “just a small bit of paint to test with”, that’s the special rate customers can now enjoy for a 4fl oz Mini Pot of paint. It’s all thanks to the new BH Mini Colour Pot Machine at the Premier Plaza Colourcentre. The one-of-a-kind machine produces a Mini Pot in a matter of minutes, with each pot having enough product to cover up to 10 square feet with one coat of paint. Customers can use the machine’s touchpad screen to select options from the full catalogue of colours, in either flat or satin finish.

As Trade Sales and Company Stores Retail Manager, Marvin Fletcher explained, “On a daily basis, we would have people coming in asking for small sample pots of paint to take with them to test in their spaces. However, the smallest amount available was a quarter gallon of paint. That was far more than they needed for a sample and people would also feel limited in how many they could buy at one time given the price. Now, with this new machine, customers can easily buy multiple paint samples, at an affordable price. The smaller pots will help cut down on wastage and will also help people to save money in the long run because they will be so much more confident about their final selections.”

The two for $500 special is available for a limited time until December 31, 2022 and will be especially helpful to Jamaicans looking to spruce up their homes for the holiday season.

“People love to paint their homes for Christmas and this will make it so much easier this year. You can come in, buy multiple small pots, test them on your exterior and interior walls or cupboards or wherever, and then come back, confident that you know exactly which colours will work best for you,” said Annmarie Ancel, Assistant Manager at the Premier Plaza store.

Similar machines exist in nine other countries worldwide, but the BH Mini Colour Pot Machine is the most advanced version of the technology and the first of its kind in the region save for BH’s sister store in Barbados. The unique vending-style machine can produce a Mini Pot in under two minutes, in over 1000 different colours.

“We know our customers will love using the machine. It’s quick and easy and injects some fun into the process of selecting your paints. Getting these smaller pots at such an affordable price will also be a gamechanger for our customers who are into DIY projects and for contractors and interior decorators who like to show their clients the potential look and finish of different paint colours. Nothing beats actually seeing the paint in your spaces, so being able to get multiple options, for a fraction of the cost of what you would have paid before, is a huge deal,” Mr Fletcher said.

In addition to the Premier Plaza location, Mini Pots are available via an order/ collect service from BH Paints’ Bell Road, Portmore, Spanish Town and Constant Spring Colourcentres.
