WHEN the new school term begins on Tuesday, several students of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School will be entering into six newly painted rooms thanks to the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), who partnered with Harris Paints and Carter's to spruce up these areas.
Thanking God for the blessing and Harris Paints for having the competition, grand prize winner Arlette Sisnett declared "It could not have come at a better time," Sisnett was one of two regional winners announced as the grand prize winners of a US$5000 cruise for two each. The other winner, Oliver Potter, hails from the island of Antigua.
The Harris Paints St. Lucia team were busy bees over the Christmas and New Year period as they dispensed tangible Christmas cheer to those in need. Leading up to Christmas, the group from Harris Paints decided to assist Moses Ragwanan, a young 29 year-old man who lost the use of his legs in a car accident 4 years ago.
The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) on Tuesday signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Harris Paints Guyana that would see new low-income allottees benefiting from a seven per cent discount when they purchase paint over the next year.
